I forgive the onion situation I admit I am partly to blame for not asking, but what I don’t forgive is bad service and rudeness. I’ve travelled around the world and never once complained about a meal or sent one back. You ruined my birthday, focused far too much on larger table behind us ( really wasn’t that busy as you had plenty time to stand around near the till area). After 15 minutes eventually someone asked if we wanted another drink but at this point we just wanted to leave, we asked for the bill and after 10 minutes still no bill, the server came back to the table and we asked for the bill again. Again he didn’t ask if our meals were ok, if we wanted dessert but he proceeded to walk off and show the other wait staff how much of my food was left. After sitting for over 25 minutes after my partner finished food eventually a staff member took our plates away. Not once did a server come back and ask if either of our meals were ok, whether we wanted anymore drinks etc. I really didn’t want to send this back again as I didn’t want to come across like a trouble maker. To my surprise my spaghetti wasn’t fully cooked and still hard in the centre. My meal then came within 10 minutes which was great as my Partner was already eating. The server seemed a little annoyed as he had taken my order but I really am not a person to ever complain or send food back. When my meal arrived it has onions in- which I’m aware this can happen so we asked the server if this could be changed. My carbonara even to the point of stating it contained chives. The menu very much in detail specified what was on the plate. Shortly after a large table arrived which delayed in us ordering our food. My cocktail was delicious and arrived quite promptly. I must admit it’s a beautiful place, lovely scenic views. Was celebrating my 30th birthday meal here.
